  • Determine where you want to be, and
  • Set realistic goals

I will then

  • Help you identify any barriers and minimise or remove them,
  • Provide support, tools and resources to help ensure your success, and

Strict criteria for accreditation must be achieved and members need to maintain and update their professional development on a yearly basis.

An AEP is able to advise you on what exercise is appropriate for you, recommend different exercise modes and take into account any pre-existing medical conditions in order to design a tailored program for you. An AEP is also able to assist you in achieving behavioural changes in order to achieve your desired outcome. I differ from a personal trainer in that I do not provide weekly one-on-one sessions for an extended period of time to make you get fit. I help each client develop an overall plan that focuses on the key areas of their health that they wish to improve. I then assist them in tailoring an exercise regime to their requirements that can be incorporated into their normal daily life.
